🛠️ Windshield Repair Warranty
Using advanced resin-injection techniques, our repairs halt chip and crack expansion while preserving strength and clarity. We offer a 3-month repair warranty: if the repaired area re-cracks within 3 months under normal driving conditions, we will credit the full repair cost toward a complete windshield replacement.
⚠️ Repair Disclaimer
- Repairs cannot make damage invisible; some visibility under specific lighting is normal.
- Original damage may continue to spread due to road vibration, temperature changes, or subsequent impact.
- Warranty voids if damage worsens from collisions, misuse, or unapproved external factors.
🪟 Windshield Replacement Warranty
All replacement glass meets or exceeds OEM standards and is installed by AGSC-certified technicians using premium urethane. We guarantee against defects, seal failure, and installation flaws for as long as you own your vehicle.
📄 Parts Warranty Disclaimer
Excludes damage from rock chips, road debris, vandalism, theft, collision, or other external factors occurring after installation. Normal wear and tear due to weather is excluded.
🔧 Labor Warranty & Tampering Protection
Our workmanship is guaranteed for the life of your vehicle. If installation defects arise due to our labor, we will correct them at no cost. However, any unauthorized removal, modification, or reuse of parts post-installation voids this warranty.
📄 Labor Disclaimer & Customer Responsibilities
- Warranty valid only if all moldings, trim, and hardware remain in original condition post-service.
- Customers must retain all original parts. If moldings or trim are discarded, altered, or reinstalled by others, we cannot address related issues.
- Claims for replacements of parts removed by the customer will be denied and may incur charges.
- We reserve the right to inspect any vehicle before honoring a warranty claim. Evidence of tampering or part removal nullifies coverage.
- Trim Maintenance: Customers must inspect and maintain all plastic moldings and trim. Normal wear and tear is excluded.
⚠️ Wear & Tear Exclusion
Plastic moldings, trim, and related accessories are subject to normal wear and tear, environmental exposure, and regular maintenance. Our warranty does not cover:
- Fading, cracking, or warping of moldings or trim due to sun, temperature extremes, or aging.
- Delamination, discoloration, or deterioration from road chemicals or improper cleaning.
- Damage resulting from failure to clean, maintain, or inspect moldings and trim.
- Replacement solely due to cosmetic wear (scratches, chips, scuffs) not affecting safety or structural integrity.
If you believe a molding or trim piece failed due to a defect in material or installation, notify Glass Masters within 30 days of discovery. Claims reported after 30 days are void.
💧 Leak Warranty
If water infiltration occurs after installation, notify us within 15 days of discovery. We will perform a comprehensive leak-detection test—including seals, sunroof drains, and roof rack mounts—and reseal as necessary. Most leak issues resolve on the first follow-up.
💧 Leak Disclaimer
- Excludes leaks caused by rust, structural damage, sunroof misalignment, or aftermarket accessories installed by others.
- Claims after 15 days of discovery are void, and any resulting damage is not covered.
- Customers must allow full access to the vehicle’s interior (floor panels, headliner) for leak tracing; refusal may void service options.
✨ Cleanup & Residual Glass Disclaimer
After installation, we vacuum and sweep all visible glass fragments. Because glass fragments can be microscopic, we cannot guarantee removal of every tiny shard. Inspect your vehicle’s interior and exterior before driving.
- Thorough Cleanup: Professional vacuums and multiple inspections clear large and small glass pieces at no extra cost.
- Residual Fragments: Microscopic particles may remain in floor mats, door tracks, or upholstery. Customers must check before operating the vehicle.
- Warranty Exclusion: Any injury or damage from unseen glass particles is not covered.
By accepting service, you acknowledge advised risk of residual fragments and agree to inspect for remaining glass prior to driving.
📝 Aftercare & Maintenance
To ensure long-lasting seals and proper performance, follow these guidelines:
- Avoid driving your vehicle for at least 1 hour after installation to allow urethane to cure.
- Refrain from car washes, high-pressure rinsing, or exposure to extreme temperatures for 24 hours.
- Do not slam doors firmly for the first 24 hours to prevent seal stress.
- Inspect weatherstripping, moldings, and trim within 48 hours for proper fit and alignment.
- If you notice unusual noises, water spots, or fitment issues, contact us immediately.
⚙️ Rust & Corrosion Disclaimer
Our warranty does not cover pre-existing or structural rust corrosion. Prior to service, we inspect the vehicle’s pinch weld, frame, and surrounding areas. If rust is discovered that compromises seal integrity, additional fees may apply, and certain coverage may be void.
- Minor surface rust can be treated and sealed to restore integrity.
- Severely corroded pinch welds may require body shop attention; warranty does not cover structural damage.
- If rust is found post-installation and affects seal or glass fitment, warranty on that specific coverage may be void.
📡 ADAS Calibration Warranty
Modern vehicles rely on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like lane-departure warning and forward collision prevention. We offer two AGSC-compliant calibration solutions:
- Auggie by AirPro Diagnostics: A compact digital-target system projecting precise alignment grids onto a portable LED panel—perfect for mobile or small-shop setups. Remote OEM specialists provide step-by-step support to meet factory tolerances in real time.
- Opti-Aim by Pilkington: A comprehensive kit with foldable magnetic targets, tripods, and a handheld scan tool. Allows both static and dynamic calibrations according to OEM procedures without requiring internet connectivity on-site.
📄 Calibration Disclaimer
- Valid only if calibration is performed by Glass Masters immediately after windshield or sensor replacement.
- Void if calibration is declined, payment is incomplete, or invoice is unsigned by the insured policyholder.
- Does not cover unrelated electronic faults, damaged sensors, or dashboard errors not directly tied to ADAS alignment.
🛡️ Limitation of Liability
🔒 Protecting Glass Masters
- No Consequential or Incidental Damages: Glass Masters Auto Glass is not liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages (loss of use, loss of time, or injury to possessions). Our sole responsibility is limited to repairing or replacing the covered glass area.
- Maximum Liability Cap: Under no circumstances shall our total liability exceed the original invoice amount paid for services on that vehicle.
- Third-Party Accessories: Any electronics or aftermarket accessories (dash cams, GPS units, custom tint films) installed by parties other than Glass Masters are excluded from our liability.
🔍 Pre-Existing Conditions & Inspection
⚠️ Inspection & Pre-Existing Damage
- Pre-Existing Rust or Body Damage: Any rust, body damage, or structural corrosion discovered before or during installation may affect seal integrity. Extensive hidden damage could incur additional fees or void coverage.
- Interior Contamination Inspection: Customers must remove personal items (loose change, jewelry, electronics) from the work area. Glass Masters is not responsible for damage to or loss of items left inside the vehicle.
- Customer Walkaround & Sign-Off: Upon completion, customers will inspect the installation area (pins, moldings, trim) and sign to acknowledge acceptance. Signing indicates that visible issues were noted or waived at pickup.
⛈️ Force Majeure & Weather Delays
⛈️ Service Delay Disclaimer
- Unforeseen Circumstances: Glass Masters Auto Glass is not liable for service delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including severe weather (hail, blizzards, flooding), road closures, acts of God, or supply shortages.
- Rescheduling & Communication: If weather or force majeure delays service, we will contact you promptly to reschedule. No additional labor or cancellation fees apply if delays are outside our control.
- Safety First: If conditions prevent safe installation (freezing urethane, high winds), the job will be postponed until conditions improve. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
🧰 Customer Responsibilities & Maintenance
🛠️ Keeping Your Glass in Top Shape
- Regular Seal Inspection: Check windshield seals monthly—especially after rain or temperature changes—to catch early leaks.
- Avoid High-Pressure Washes: Do not use car washes exceeding 1200 PSI for at least 7 days after installation; high pressure can compromise urethane bonding and void seal warranty.
- Use Approved Cleaners Only: Harsh chemicals (ammonia, acetone, bleach) can damage sealants and trim. Always use mild, glass-safe cleaners recommended by Glass Masters.
- Sunroof & Drain Maintenance: Periodically clear sunroof and moonroof drain channels to avoid backflow that may mimic a glass leak. We offer free drain inspections upon request.
⚖️ Legal Fees & Collection
📑 Unpaid Balances & Collection
- Payment Terms: Full payment is due upon service completion. If payment is not received within 30 days of invoice date, Glass Masters reserves the right to report delinquent accounts to credit agencies or engage a collection agency.
- Legal Fee Recovery: If Glass Masters pursues legal action to recover unpaid balances, the customer shall be responsible for all associated costs, including attorney’s fees, court costs, and collection agency fees.
