What Is ADAS?
Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) are electronic systems in a vehicle that use advanced technologies to assist the driver.
ADAS calibration and why it’s Necessary
If your vehicle is equipped with Lane Departure and you need a full windshield replacement, it will also need to be recalibrated. While Lane Departure is just one feature of the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), other safety features can also be affected, including cameras and sensors. Therefore, a Lane Departure Calibration may be necessary and can often be performed on site at the time of installation.

IF YOUR VEHICLE HAS ANY OF THE FOLLOWING FEATURES, IT MAY NEED TO BE RECALIBRATED
Lane Departure Warning | Forward Collision Alert |
Automatic Braking Systems | Traffic Sign Recognition |
Auto Headlight Control | Active Brake Assist |
Lane Change Assistance | Forward Collision Warning |
Lane Keep Assist LKA | High Beam Assist |
Adaptive Head Lights | Adaptive Cruise Control |

While an ADAS calibration will align everything again. Neglecting to do this correctly can cause safety features to malfunction. As a result, accidents and injury are more likely to occur. When you trust us, you can rest assured that you’ll be safe with our AGSC & Opti-Aim Certified Technicians!
Can Glass Masters Calibrate my ADAS System?
